3D-Animation for Hoshizaki Ice Makers

Have you ever stopped to think about the impact of ice on your life? Not in a Jack and Rose-kind of way, but on a smaller scale. What is a nice drink without good quality ice? A glass of warm coke in summer? No thank you… A watery cocktail because of prematurely melted ice cubes? I’ll pass… Good Ice is crucial for the enjoyment of the finer things in life. Thankfully Hoshizaki knows this and is here to help.

The client
Hoshizaki ran into the challenge that the complex internal processes of their Ice Makers was hard to explain. The unique process their machines use to manufacture ice has to be explained thoroughly by their sales team. They asked us if we could help them explain this process in a clear and thorough way to assist their marketing and sales teams.

Insight
The complex processes of the Hoshizaki Ice Makers lend themselves perfectly to be explained through a 3D animation. An exploded view of the machine would allow the potential client to follow the entire process of ice making first hand from inside the machine.
A feat that can only be accomplished through the use of animation. By visually explaining the processes the client can focus their attention on the USP’s instead of wrapping their head around the process.

Result
The request resulted in a series of 3D animation that gives us a deep dive into the Hoshizaki Ice Makers. Their Sales and Marketing team will use these animations in their sales pitches beginning 2020. The animation was brought to life by Phunk Studio.
